Severe asthma tool

Our severe asthma tool can help you find out whether you’re receiving the right care for your asthma and what to do if you’re not.

Our severe asthma tool asks you simple questions about your current asthma symptoms and care. These questions are based on the latest treatment guidelines for asthma and severe asthma.

Afterwards, you’ll receive a personalised report. This will help you to start a conversation with your healthcare professional about getting the best care for your asthma. Your report can help you work out if:

  • your asthma management is going well
  • you can improve your asthma symptoms
  • you should talk to your GP about getting referred to a severe asthma specialist
  • you could benefit from talking to your specialist team about biologic medicines for asthma.

Managing your asthma well can help you to feel better and more in control.

You can use our severe asthma tool at any time to make sure that you’re getting the best care for your asthma, but it might be useful when you’re getting ready for an appointment or asthma review.

It should only take five minutes to complete and all your information is completely confidential.
