Join us on World COPD Day, Wednesday 19th November at 6pm for our first ever COPD Webinar.
We are delighted to have Professor John Hurst presenting on “COPD – What does good care look like?”.
He will be speaking about his latest research, as well as how to empower yourself to get the best care for COPD.
Professor Hurst is a professor of respiratory medicine at University College London, and honorary consultant respiratory physician at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust where he has worked since 2007. His expertise is in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency and lung problems in people living with primary immunodeficiency states including bronchiectasis and GLILD.
We also run a monthly online support group for people with COPD. Lead by volunteer Vivienne, we meet online over Zoom every 2nd Thursday of the month at 12 noon.
You'll meet other people with COPD and be able to chat about your condition, as well as hear from a range of great speakers.
