Maximise your Fundraising Festivities

Now that you're signed up and getting ready, here are our tips to make your Christmas Singalong sparkle:

Planning

• Decide what you would like to do: from a Singalong at work to a Carol event to Karaoke! Don’t forget to round up some helpers too, the more the merrier!
• Spread the word: Post your Singalong Sheets (this one and this one!) across social media, local press, and community outreach to spread the word about your event!
• Build your page: Use Just Giving to round up all of your online donations and share your progress with your supporters!

Fundraising

• At the door: Ask for a small payment to join in.
• Donations: Don’t forget to have a collection box for holiday goodwill! Set up donation boxes for refreshments or a fundraising page for attendees to contribute
• Raffles and auctions: Add some holiday magic and offer fun prizes to encourage participation and donations!

Festive atmosphere

• Decorations: Create a magical setting with festive lights, ornaments, and decorations.
• Refreshments: Keep the cheer flowing with warm drinks, festive treats, and seasonal snacks (maybe even some mulled wine for the grown-ups!)  
• Costumes: Encourage attendees to dress in festive attire for added fun.
• Interactive: If you’re organising a carol event, include audience participation, such as sing-alongs or carols.
