Are you living with a lung condition or caring for someone who is? Would you like to make a difference in how respiratory care is delivered across Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland?
We're looking for volunteers from all walks of life to join our Nations Advisory Panel and ensure the voices of those affected by lung conditions are heard.
The recent pandemic has highlighted the need to be able to produce clear and robust guidelines and support for people with a lung condition but has also shone a spotlight on the patchy provision of support and treatment for everyone who has a respiratory disease. We need your help to shape the future of respiratory care.
As a member of the Nations Advisory Panel, you’ll bring your unique perspective and join other people across different lung conditions so that together the Panel can represent a diverse set of views.
Your role will involve reviewing and providing feedback on information from the Government and Asthma + Lung UK, thinking about the impact of policies not just on yourself but other people with lung conditions and helping to shape future care. You might also have the opportunity to share your personal story and experiences with others.
The Panel meets online four times a year, and your input will help drive projects and policies that make a real difference.
If you're passionate about improving respiratory care, we’d love to hear from you!
