As the UK’s leading lung health charity, it’s vital that we engage with key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical, diagnostic and medical device industries, who are central to improving lung health. Taskforce for Lung Health
Since 2018, the Taskforce for Lung Health has been bringing together the most influential voices working in lung health to speak with one voice and improve lung health. Asthma + Lung UK are joining together over 40 members, including patients, carers, healthcare professionals, the voluntary sector and professional associations, and 25 industry representatives, in the largest ever respiratory sector collaboration. Together, we are taking action to transform the landscape of lung health and push meaningful advancements within the NHS.
From establishing our national Lung Health Data Tracker project and offering statistical evidence on the nation’s lung health, to having respiratory included as a clinical priority in NHS England’s Long-Term Plan for the first time, our influencing work has already led to significant progress towards improving the nation’s lung health and the treatment provided to patients.
